It is sticky tape. You'd have to undo the amount to put it into another car because the charger plugs into the mount not the camera

It comes with a transparent plastic thingy that you should use to stick it to the window. It was very easy to remove it when I tint my windows then stick it back.
Even if you didn't use the transparent thingy, it's just 3M double sided tape which can be easily replaced.

Same thoughts I don't get why they don't just use the static sticker that was given in the package.
I sold one of my vehicles and I had to move the camera and place it into my new vehicle, that static sticker saved tons of my time instead of doing what TheDTinc said. The only thing that annoyed me was doing the wiring and finding a new place for the camera.
The new version has static plastic that goes on windshield and the sticky tape attaches to that. It is much better now
