compustar sent me a brand one updated key fob free. Blew my mind. I paid a thousand dollars for total kit+ install. But I got a pro series alarm : remote start system. Something like Mile or miles of range
I still have the car today works perfect w manual I come to a stop, pull e brake, get out. Car turns off like 3 seconds later, and locks doors up. I only use remote start couple times a year but I actually prefer the auto locking up when I get out. My gf's car gets robbed randomly bc she forgets to lock it
So short answer, I dont see why not.
If you are thinking of getting more than one, I will say that TT did not offer me any huge deals, but I realized after the fact I could have them come and install a wall mounted TV, for example, all for the price of the items. if you were looking for a PS5/XBox, they had a few TT only drops...I was also looking to get a new dishwasher and oven, which apparently they also will install free, though I dont know how seamless that will be.
Overall was a good purchase personally - and if you are a frequent BB shopper each purchase will have at least a buck or two off for TT depending on how exp the product is.
Edit: You also get that free geeksquad repair stuff and increased return window - again not that amazing but does not hurt if something goes awry
My car never had autostart until I had one installed. The first one started going on the fritz after a few years, so I got this one to replace it 2-3 years ago and it has been wonderful.
Be prepared to pay some extra for certain things they might need to install to make it work with your vehicle.
I decided not to carry my factory fob and that meant giving up having the panic button option on this unit, because it would have cost an extra $100 for an extra module, IIRC.
HTH!
ecu is protected by fuses etc. gotta wonder how bad the installer jacked your shit up.
i fried my ecu on another car actually doing audio work, I had wires not grounded or spliced wrong. It was my fault, that was installers fault somehow. An auxiliary should never interfere with any other element
