    thanks man. what's the best way to find out how to proceed? I have ASRock Taichi x370 MB. don't want to brick my MB with current 1800x processor if it turns out that it doesn't work with 5950x. (though MB support have BIOS update for it).

    Building a pc is easy. That website does most of the thinking for you. Pick a cpu and it will only give you compatible options for everything else.

    I guess it can still be overwhelming…
