    Just FYI, TP-Link finally put out a statement on Matter integration. It seems to indicate that only future products will be designed for matter as opposed to updating these current items.

    I am remodeling my house and bought 20 kasa switches. Awsome deal. There are rebates on some of them if you buy with Amazon credit card also.

    I'm in for a 4-pack of the ultra's. I've had a good experience with the energy monitoring mini I got in July for 3.50 +tax, hard to beat that one.

    I did the same thing three years ago and the switches are in a box in my basement. As I recall. $20 per switch was my sweet spot. And now they're $10 each, and I haven't installed one. I'm crying in SD.

    Agreed - nothing to see here. The HS200P3 3 pack on/off switches and HS220P3 3 pack dimmers are at regular price. Nothing FP worthy IMO.

    Looks like TP-Link is proactively "protecting consumers" from flashing custom firmware on the Kasa line.

    So if you want smart plugs that you can flash to get more DIY control over, Sonoff S31 works fantastically with Tosmota firmware.

    I have both Kasa and Eufy cams. Eufy is better at detection while Kasa's image quality seems to be better, especially their 2k outdoor (not wireless).

    With Kasa camera I often get a notification that a person is detected, but the clip is not ready/viewable in the app. From a security perspective, that is sort of useless. Never had that issue with Eufy.
