Remember when computer parts had triple digit discounts on black friday? Those were the days. Now we get $20 off but have to buy a CPU cooler that wasn't included.

I mean it JUST came out. We're lucky to get anything. 12700k is still going for $300 for BF. Wish I lived near a microcenter. So annoying all their deals are always in store only and they only cover like a handful of states.

13700kf is also 380 here on SD. if i were buying i would get that one and save $40. igpu is virtually worthless for most

At microcenter, the then newly released 12700k was $50 off last year and dropped to $100 off within the next month. This year's definitely different

If I was in the market today for a Z790 build then a 13700K CPU would be my overall choice. It def gives the current AM5/Zen 4 lineup a run for its money according to benchmarks. However, it's egregious how much of a premium the iGPU commands compared to the KF model:
