Someone here on Slickdeals commented the same thing before and I thought it was just that person or they were exaggerating. Nope. According to the multiple Amazon reps I spoke with this is standard practice for Apple products.

Dang that sucks. I do think the M1 is the better buy over the A14 so hopefully you get it this time around. Good luck!
Can you elaborate on the 5% cash back on the chase freedom card with PayPal purchase? I have that card but don't see a 5% offer for PayPal/Best Buy?
Asking the same question myself!!
It's part of this quarter's 5% category and you have to activate it. 5% cb if you shop at Walmart or checkout with Paypal with your linked card. Maybe it's ymmv? Not sure.
But my concern was over Virtual memory itself. I know that 64GB chips have a much shorter lifespan than their 256GB counterparts, but we're talking Read and Write values that far exceed the typical life of an ipad. Even if they kept the VMS file to 4Gigs, that is still a major improvement.

The chase freedom unlimited doesn't have 5% cash back rotating categories, you must be referring to a different card of theirs
I never said unlimited. It's the regular freedom card that's lighter blue than the unlimited.
Freedom (basic) is cash back through rotating categories. 1% everything else. No annual fee. New signups also closed to start bringing in Freedom Flex users which is better.
Freedom Unlimited is standard 3% cash back on restaurant and 5% travel booked through ultimate rewards, 1.5% everything else. Hence the unlimited part
Unlimited is basically a no annual fee Sapphire (well, without the FTF in return)
[edit] Sorry, i replied to the wrong person so they will get the ping.
