You can still use a Roku with this. It doesn't matter what system a TV comes with, you can always plug-in something else.
The problem is that Google TV will inevitably face software issues or the processor can't handle it over time. I've got a perfectly good TV sitting in bedroom that reboots itself every 15 minutes because of the software. So infuriating tbh. My Roku TVs? Never have had a single software issues that wasn't resolved with a single reboot.

Lot's of good deals this week. I had one of these for a few weeks in my bedroom. Solid TV with a great picture. Casting worked perfectly. $500 is definitely the right price for this but I thought pickle was waiting for this to go down to $199.

Waiting for $400 I have enough toys to keep me occupied till then. My daughter has this TV and after watching it I feel like I need one.

I did get one for $400 but had to pay sales tax on $600, find a use for $100 merchant gift card that had 100% return, jump through significant rebate hoops with Hisense and wait 5 months to get my last $100 back. Meh.
It's baffling that the U6G has an objectively better picture and is a year older. I think Hisense was still in brand building mode (even moreso) in 2021 and had much smaller margins on those panels. It's counterintuitive that and older model would be a better model but anyway the U6H is a good TV and this price is reasonable

Similar release strategy as GPU's and Google Pixel phones; the flagship/premium device releases months ahead of the downgraded economical model.

But that's not what happened. The U6G is the predecessor to the U6H. They're the same class of tv, just that one is newer. In theory it should be better based on traditional tv improvement logic. Anyway not a big deal.
