Lowest for the past year seems to have been $40 for 2 4aH batteries. This is pretty damn good if it's under $50. I can't replicate though since it says promotion is sold out for me

These combo deals now say "This item is only returnable in store." HD clearly knows the intentions of many people who order this.

Set kit up as "Ship to store", batteries as "Ship to home". Do not pick up the kit in store. It will be automatically refunded after 5 days.

You can't do that anymore. HD employees complained about the online pickup space being full so HD changed the rules.

Did just that a month ago, How can you "not do that"? Will they not allow two different "ship to" methods? Will they not automatically cancel and refund if not picked up in store in 5 days?

Two different delivery methods is blocked on the website. It gives an error and you can't check out.

I learned this a few days ago, select each for different store pickup- then don't pick up the one you don't want.

maybe it wasnt a combo deal, that locket two items (main and bonus) to the similar delivery method.

But it does allow you to choose pickup from 2 different stores… not sure if that would help anyone

It was a combo deal. One for one store and the other for another store. I picked one up and left the other one waiting. I tried to cancel online but it did not let me. I tried to call and cancel but they said I have to do it in person. I just left it and it got canceled after a few weeks
