For those of you thinking about the 2-burner at around $149-$179 instead of this deal, consider this post from another community member (bostonbutt) that I fully agree with:
"[Referring to the 2-burner (not this deal)] Here's the thing: Yes, this is a good deal for what it is, BUT, it is a very small space to do a good cook of almost anything. Here's why: When cooking on a flattop you need different spaces on the surface to provide different amounts of heat, ie: high, low, off. There just aren't enough burners, nor space, to separate your food as you cook. I suppose if you're cooking for one or two you might be able to work with two burners, but it would still be a challenge since the beauty of these contraptions is the ability to cook a number of items at once. I've had the 36" for 6 years and it's really good. I can keep the two outside burners on low or off and slide the cooded stuff over there to keep warm while I'm doing up the stuff that needs to cook.
Been cooking for 40 years. Take this for what it's worth. I believe the the 28" griddle is a marketing gimmick developed to get 'first-timers' into the griddle craze... at a lower price. Pretty soon, you'll know exactly what I mean if you buy one."

To anybody put off by this comment, the 30-40 minute seasoning process, per blackstone, only needs to be done when you first purchase it. After that, you are wasting time and oil seasoning it that much.
Cook your food, scrap the griddle, spray a small amount of water if there are any stuck on bits, wipe with a handful of paper towels…. Then, the key is to squirt a bit of oil on after it's been cleaned, use another handful of paper towels to spread the oil out in a very thin layer. Then turn it off. Done.
This is literally a 3-5 minute process after each use. The oil will protect it between uses. If you take care of it you should never have to reseason it with the 40 minutes process.
