This is a really good Cable Modem esp. with Xfinity 1Gb plan.

Now that the Motorola 8611 has been shown to be buggy with their December firmware bad rollout.

No.
I have been on it since I had to do an emergency swap for my reliable Moto 8611 because I couldnt afford the drop outs anymore on the Moto.

If I had my druthers, I would have never switched from the 8611.

But the Surfboard platform which Moto sold to Arris is bulletproof.
