I guess the real advantage of the 6650 XT might be the more mature drivers, though Intel has supposedly made a lot of progress there.
Yeah, I'd go for the 6650XT. The drivers for Intel Arc have gotten much better, and may even meet/surpass the 6650XT if the drivers become more mature down the line. I wouldn't buy hardware based on the hope of future performance, though. As much as I dislike Intel for their business decisions, I really hope they succeed because we need competition. I'm currently running a 3080, but hoping my next GPU might be an Intel GPU in a couple years. F**k Nvidia.
Rumor has it arc will be trashed for a more stable all around performace chipset closer to what amd and nvidia put out but its at least a year out due to slow ass driver software engineers. not the silicon side

The other poster pretty much already answered you, but yes similar to Gamer's Nexus' reporting, Newegg has had abysmal support over the years. I have personally had to fight tooth and nail to get resolutions to pretty much any problem I found with an order from them. Throw in their forced bundling of products (during covid, you could only purchase in demand GPUs and CPUs if you also purchased things like power supplies that they were trying to move stock on.... One of which had known fire hazards... And other similar components you didn't want), aggressive restocking fees on returns, terrible policies (such as their dead pixel policy which I think has been resolved finally), and other various cases of predatory behaviors similar to what GN uncovered. You clearly start to see a pattern that they are not consumer friendliest at all. There's plenty of stories on places like Reddit etc. to see that there's an awful pattern with them.
Which is sad because i remember when newegg first came out it was THE nerd tech shop

More mature drivers from team red? Have you owned one? I stupidly went red and have been dealing with black screen for the past year with no fix…
Yep. Back in the day, you ordered ALL your parts from them. They were the best. Thanks for that little wave of nostalgia. 😄
Been using it with AutoCAD Civil3d.
Does 3D work load just fine. Noticed no difference between this and my 3060TI.
This card was longer than by 3060 so I had to rearrange the case a bit.
Note: You have to install the card before you can install drivers. Annoying but zero other issues installing and getting to run.
