Micro Center in house... must be great living next to one of these. I would be broke if I did lol.
I bought this a month ago @ $499 and it's great. The boot times with EXPO enabled aren't worth the small performance improvement, FYI. With EXPO on the system sometimes fails to boot or restart completely. With EXPO off it boots in 8-12 seconds. YMMV.
Also, if you're primarily gaming, give ECO mode a try in Ryzen Master. I got a 5% bump in FPS while using less power and running cooler.
MSi has been good about Bios updates and there is one in beta out now. I'm hoping they fix the boot and sleep issues (the issue? It can't sleep) soon, but it's been 100% stable and fast otherwise.

How's this compare to a 5800x3D setup? Worth upgrading at this point?
It will match the 5800X3D in the benchmarks that most favor the 5800X3D and then run away in everything else. If you already have an AM4 motherboard you like, the 5800X3D makes a strong case. If not, this is better in pretty much every way.

I live 40 miles from the Micro Center in Tustin, CA. It's nearly a 2 hour drive there still with traffic so I only visit once or twice a year (last was a few months ago when I rebuilt my PC).

I really didn't appreciate it when I did. I've only been there a few times. Now that I moved 4 hours away, suddenly I'm in need of computer parts and they usually have the best deals. Such is life.

What PC case and fans are those? Thanks in advance!
Damn, I just bought this from them 3 days ago for $500. Gonna have to drive back to the city for a price adjustment now smh. Thanks for the deal though
It's a super expensive case (I got it for $220 I think?) but has a lot of space. That said it has more plastic than I was expecting. Many of their cases are metal/glass and this one is mostly plastic except for the glass panels on both sides. I do like that the PSU is on top though.

Update: Answered my own question by looking up a few YT vids. I'll keep the 5800x3d for now, doesn't seem to be a worthwhile jump at this point.

Jokes on them. I played the long con and waited for them to build one in my city and it paid off. One is opening this summer
