Appears to be an all-time low price after coupon. This is a hard to find 240 Volt inverter generator with a large 301 cc engine comparable to the Wen GB685i which sells for $685.

Well pump, water heater, range capable. No frills Gasoline only pull start increases reliability. IME the 301 cc engine starts easily with one or two light tugs. Less effort than lifting the fuel can.

Great deal. I have it's bigger brother, the 8750w inverter and have had nothing but great things to say. It runs my home just fine during power outages. I run it in eco mode at night, quieter and burns less fuel and it still runs the furnace, lights, 2 fridge/freezers and one chest freezer just fine.

Can confirm I had the coupon when the deal was first posted and when I commented on it. It's no longer there for me at least.

Is there a code that goes along with the coupon that anyone can provide or no? They aren't giving my account the coupon annoyingly.

Wow... I've been trying to magically make the coupon appear all weekend (different web browsers, accounts, mobile app, etc.). Now, suddenly it appears @ 7:10 am EST (Ubuntu / Firefox).

I just got the coupon now.... I still don't need it though.... but that's a good deal. Must resist!
Edit: the price went up a bit so it's now $535.28 for me after coupon.

I thought the same thing about not needing it, but then I thought to myself that this is the type of thing you buy when you don't need it, not when you do. So now I'm $550 poorer.

Great generator with enough power for many folk's homes if they are a little careful about not running
a few particular appliances at the same time. (like an electric oven or electric dryer - gas units are OK to run)

It's one of the smallest inverter generators on PG&E's free power transfer switch [pge.com] list if your home qualifies in California.
This free switch program includes installation by PG&E, and is valued at well over $1000.
My house did qualify. See the photos.
Is that program still open? I don't see any link to an application on PG&E website

Awesome, I recently signed up for that Backup Power Transfer Meter program after learning my area was eligible, though they have a months-long backlog on installations. Sadly though, I don't see this particular Champion model listed on PG&E's $300 generator rebate list, while many other Champion models are. Not sure why, as this one is transfer-switch ready as you mention, and is CARB-compliant since it's 50-state compliant. So seems like this one you can't double-dip on both incentive programs....

EDIT: Update, found a newer spreadsheet of the qualified generator rebate list, this Champion 100519 is on the newer list - which makes sense, as it's on the compatible list for the power transfer switch.

Now the dilemma, which is more practical for the power transfer switch for frequent short power outages, the Wen DF475T, which is dual-fuel (propane) but NOT inverter type, or this Champion 100519, which is quiet inverter type, but NOT dual-fuel (at least not out of the box)? Both around $500

I had heard that they'd closed the program to new applicants due to overwhelming interest and backlog. That said, I'd indirectly reached out to them through another PG&E inquiry, and after a few back-and-forth e-mails, I was able to get and submit the application form to them. Their last response suggested I'd been added to the queue, with a caveat that it could be months before they'd be ready to install one for me.

If you google around using the official name of the program in my just-prior comment on this thread, you'll be able to find both the application/agreement form and the official e-mail address for the program. Doesn't hurt to just trying sending it in....

EDIT: You do have to make sure to verify that you're in an eligible Tier 2/3 High Fire Threat area, or an adjacent EPSS-area, to qualify...
