EDU/Responder discount for the heat sinked version is $139.99 thru Samsung's site and can be picked up today @ BestBuy. On Saturday it was $134.99 so looks like the price fluctuates.

Also places to get CB if that's your bag.

May finally bite the bullet when these 2 TB drives hit $80 to $100 for the PS5. Have to have around 5,000 MB/sec or higher.

May I ask why you will never buy/support Samsung?

To keep it simple, I have never had a good experience with any of their junk and I've had their fridge, microwave, phones, sound bar, and TV. They are as good as their respective Korean cars are. Just cheap junks.
Like comparing apples to rocks! Completely different divisions entirely. Samsung has really only had two blips in their entire history of SSD's and both fixed with firmware updates. Appliances well I'm knocking on wood my washer and dryer have not had issues so far Wink

Sounds like user error. It's hard to believe you had issues with every single appliance. I chuckled at the "cheap junks" part of your comment.

I own a Samsung phone, soundbar, and TV. Never had issues. Family owns a Hyundai and never had trouble either.

This is off-topic, but you do realize Hyundai is the #3 auto manufacturer in the world, and its brands rank very highly for quality? Your bad experience seems to be an outlier.

8 months ago, this was 3X the price (~$360), so can assume by next February, it will be down to $40 and by next Black Friday, about $13.

If you don't need the storage right now, just wait.

If you need a 2TB nvme, this is pretty darn good deal. They must have made a ton of them.
