I think he meant you can't apply the 10% coupon TOWARDS a new Easystore. Obviously you could always tear out a drive from an Easystore to get the 10% coupon.
BF deal is going to be the 14TB Easystore drive for $190-$200 again, it's been like that for the past ~3 years.
BTW if you're considering this drive, just spend a little more for the 18TB WD Red Pro direct from WD. You should be able to get a 10% coupon to make it $270 and then use a CB site to get 10-12% off that. It's a better drive and warranty is 5 years vs the 2 on this one and you don't gotta worry about shucking and voiding it.
Drive died on me after transferring over 9 TB. And I had deleted all of my shows from the original to repurpose, lol. Just exchanged it and hopefully not a bad batch.

Maybe the 16tb...would be a stretch for 18tb....maybe we'll get lucky though
