$15.83/TB is decent deal, yeah they are still shuckable, they are good drives inside (similar to red/ red pro/ultrastars.
This beast here is the GOAT backup solution, 'specially 'cause you can still rip them drives out. It holds all my movies, shows, every single song I got. Transfer speeds are as fast as it gets with them old school drives.
And for all you tech geeks out there, the real deal is you grab you some of these, yank them drives out real careful-like, then slam 'em into your home server, NAS or desktop. Talking loads and loads of room.
What's been the current "Best cost per Gig" bang for buck? I recall there being a deal that got the 10 or 12TB models down to $13.50 per TB. Although I haven't seen anything that low lately.

$15/TB was the sweet spot, so anything at that or lower is a good deal for new drives.

Amazon has WD Red Pro 18TB on sale for $279.99 so if you were thinking about shucking this EasyStore, you should probably just go with the Red Pro. You save $5 and also save the hassle of shucking. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08K3TFM92/
