Had a camp chef before so hoping this works just as well. Only use it as a smoker so it's been great for that but just hasn't been able to raise the temp so was looking for a replacement.

I went to the Target closet to me and they did not have any in box. They also refused to sell me the display unit. I went to another that supposedly had 2 in stock and it was sold out. The other store told me that they normally sell floor units. Maybe an employee wanted the floor unit at the first target.

If you are willing ask for the assistant manager on duty, the department lead isn't suppose to hoard items they are suppose to get rid of

Just got one at the Palatine, IL Target. Was one left and buncha other seasonal stuff on 70% off clearance. As OP said, it was advertised 199.99, but the actual barcode rang up as 119.99. Slick AF deal, even if this thing lasts 5-6 smokes(Which it will), it would pay for itself.

Also note that I saw a few of these guys at the lake zurich target last week as well. Not sure if its still there.

Got to try it out yesterday on some spare ribs. Turned out excellent!

Only issue I experienced was the digital temp readout on controller was far different than that on the lid. Anyone else try theirs yet to compare? Maybe the foil I laid under the grates caused it..
