Only complaint is the Deco app they provided only provided half the functions. The additional features (parent control, additional security, etc.) cost extra.

The main router is broadcasting too right? So basically we get 3 units with the set?
Thanks, I think I will pick up one from Costco instead of Amazon if they have it in store, and will get the additional one from Amazon.

You do not have to wire all your units back to the "main" unit. you can do a-b-c just fine.
If you really don't care about how fast and reliable (they are ok. i wouldn't say it's unreliable but it is more unreliable than hardwiring) your connection is to those which are not hard wired, just buy a bunch of these and let them do the work and don't bother with wiring them up.
I currently get excellent Wi-Fi in most areas of my house, but I have a couple of areas that are weak.

If the above seems too much work and you want a unified wi-fi that you do not have to switch back and forth, simply wire your netgear router to axe5400 and use the wi-fi provided by axe5400. ignore netgear completely
this is same thing as AX3000 one OP listed, right?

It says X60, though vs X55 on amazon. Coverage is also a bit more for some reason.

So just to be sure, I can do Main Router ---Wired--Extender 50ft away---another extender not wired--100ft away, and--- not wired-- another extender 150ft away and they all will work fine? I am sorry because I got burnt once with Netgear mesh, I want to make sure they can be each further and further away, and they all don't have to be within coverage area of the main router, right? My ISP put my modem in furthest room so I have to kinda "chain" these one to another (some without wires)

edit - not the PRO - so has 1Gb ports vs one 2.5Gb port
...AND now Costco has them for 279, so still better than Amazon
However, can someone please make suggestion for outdoor one? The one on Amazon is pretty high $129 for just one unit, are there cheaper ones we can get?
