Not a huge discount but 2nd lowest prices its been since the $127.50 deal. The MSRP is $150 normally. (Some people getting 20% back on their Amazon Rewards cards at check out making this around $108 making it the lowest ever YMMV)

These AP's are great, normal older 5Ghz clients can expect around 700Mbps, AX clients can max out a 1Gbps fiber line and get as high as 1.3Gbps over wireless from what I seen on 160MHz. 2.5Gbps port so take advantage of it. Your choice how techie you want to get with the setup but its pretty close to plug and play. These outclass all the Unifi products when it comes to actual performance. They require POE+ if your using a older POE switch fyi, but they come with a power brick in the box too.

【Blazing-Fast True Wi-Fi 6 Speeds】Designed with the latest wireless Wi-Fi 6 technology featuring 1024-QAM, HE60 and Long OFDM Symbol, the EAP670 boosts dual-band Wi-Fi speeds up to 5400 Mbps..Power Consumption : 19.8 W.
【2.5GE Port with PoE+ for Easy Installation】Armed with a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, the EAP670 delivers exceptional multi-gigabit performance and boosts total internet throughput for faster, better Wi-Fi. Supports standard 802.3at PoE+ and 12V/1.5A DC power supply, can be powered by a TP-Link PoE+ switch, or the provided 12V/1.5A DC adapter, making deployment effortless and flexible.
【Integrated into Omada SDN】Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform integrates network devices including access points, switches & gateways with multiple control options offered - Omada Hardware controller, Software Controller or Cloud-based controller*(Contact TP-Link for Cloud-Based Controller Details). Standalone mode also supported.
【Cloud Access & Omada Compatibility】Remote Cloud access and Omada app enables centralized cloud management of the whole network from different sites—all controlled from a single interface anywhere, anytime. For devices that are compatible with SDN firmware, please visit 'From the manufacturer – Q&A' section or TP-Link website.
【Advanced Wireless Tech】Supports Mesh WiFi, Seamless Roaming*(Omada Mesh & Seamless Roaming require the use of Omada SDN controllers), Band Steering, Load Balancing, Airtime Fairness and Beamforming technologies.

TD because unnecessary overly defensive op. Huge red flag.

Ugly? Don't they all look like this?

If you mean to setup the product, that would be Aruba and I know at least a few Cisco AP's, that require you to login through their cloud.

This can be used with their controller software, free if you run it off your own hardware, or can buy their hardware controller for like $60. It gets accessed through the controller locally through the default IP address. Cloud account is optional for easier management for larger deployments.

Can one mange MAC filtering (allow or deny list) via APP or only via website? I'm looking for a system where the MAC filtering can conveniently be managed via phone app instead of needing to be in front of a computer.

I got their Deco routers but I am still disappointed that I spent more money for supposedly more range than my old netgear mesh. Deco mesh I got is easy to manage but range is no better than my old mesh routers. The sqft coverage with to link is definitely inflated or without walls or maybe very thin walls like offices. I have to spend more money and get more of their access points now to have better covarage.

I would say it depends on the construction of the building. I've installed DECO X60's in offices and homes and range is excellent. I have installed WIFI in old building with cinder block walls and the signal dies as soon as you leave the room. Multi-story homes with lots of steel between floors will kill the signal.

So it has nothing to do with paper-thin walls as much as materials used in construction (and consider interference with neighbors WIFI, too).

I don't have too many neighbors that can interfere, but I think there might be things blocking the signal or interfering. I just thought deco would be more reliable and stronger, but it's not the case. Wired back haul will be required in most cases which is why I am not investing in their POE access point and got their 4+4 POE switch.

Do you know if it's OK to use the switch between fiber modem and deco and then add another access point there.

I dont mind the unifi APs. They're pretty small now and are concave.

I do hope people invest in other companies. Ubiquiti has lost their product focus and withhold major security breeches while forcing cloud access. And yes I know now you can sort of do unifi without the cloud. I have their cloudkey firewalled off. I have several co-workers that have left their platform. I still have some of their products but on my next upgrade, I'll be shopping the other non-cloud options.

I love the omada system, set it up at our business using 3 eap225 APs and OC200 + ER605 router. This is over 7500 Sq ft. and have great coverage with 3 APs.

Also have deco mesh at home, with wired backhaul. I am working on switching over to the omada network for home also, it costs about the same between a wifi 6 mesh vs EAPs

I bought two of these last year as part of an upgrade to my network since I had 1 gig internet and wanted to upgrade everything to at least 2.5 gig ports. These APs have worked flawlessly and I do get 1.2 gig down on my internet now. With 1 gig ports I was only getting 800mb down. I posted my speedtest results below as well.

Here is my setup for reference:
Raspberrry Pi 4 - Router with 2 usb a to 2.5gb adapters running openwrt
Zyxel - 8 port - 2.5gig switches x2
Raspberry Pi 4 - Omada controller
ARRIS Surfboard S33 - 2.5gig port

Surfboard goes to the Pi router and then the first switch and out to the rest. I did have to buy POE+ 2.5gig adapters for the APs as well. This did cost $800 to purchase everything but has made a huge difference in the internet speeds I get over WIFI.

I put Intel AX210 adapters in all of my laptops if they were on old wifi adapters. My connection to the EAP670 is at 2.4gb on my laptop.

I have not had any issues with the EAP670 and it is working better than my previous Ubiquiti system that was limited by the 1GB ports. I know Ubiquiti has newer equipment with faster speeds but I was looking for a full change of my system and I am pretty sure it would be way over the $800 I spent on this new setup.
