No matter what mantra Lamborgini fans always repeat, realize that you are shelling out $200K+ for a car with only two seats.

They are not the same. Point me to cheapest non-Apple computer with iMessage, FaceTime and AirDrop, just to name a few features.
Very weird flex.. point me to a non McDonalds that has a McRib, McMuffin, and a Big Mac? 😂

Those are all propitiatory Apple apps. Of course the competitors don't have these apps. . Thats exactly Apple gets so much hate.

FWIW I just left BB with this Mac for my GF. No hate but you have a very odd take here. These apps were available on the iPhone 5 a decade ago, not exactly ground breaking tech.

Is the 15" Air better other than screen size. It is listed at 1049 at costco with 2 year warranty
It's showing 1250 for me, it is on Amazon for that price.

The speakers are better, bigger battery, and 10 cores vs 8 core

It's a MacBook, 'silver' is always the best color.
This is the correct answer, also helps if you don't want people knowing you have the M2 model.

Good reason to dump the apple ecosystem.
16 GB would have increased the price by $10 and give your mac many more years of service. Is $909 a deal breaker?
The only thing green about apple is their GREED.

List a couple Windows devices that offering the same color accuracy, pixel density, sound quality, build quality, battery life, product stack integration, and thermal performance for $900.

I'm at that point where I feel depressed that I paid $1700 for the 512gb version with AppleCare, and then I see this for $800 less

With that being said, I love this machine. It's quick, responsive, looks beautiful, and I'm scared to death to scratch it! I'm happy with it, although I probably don't use it for nearly as much as what it's intended for.

Are you sure you didn't get the pro version?

Yes. When I purchased it, the 512gb version was $1400ish, and Apple Care was another $250 or so.

Pro tip:

Instead of buying a new iPhone Pro model this year, consider just getting an M2 MacBook Air and keeping it in your pocket. You'll get more functionality and save hundreds of dollars.

I just ordered the m1 from costco for $750. Is it worth $150 to upgrade to m2?
I am not playing games nor video editing.
In 2-3 years Apple will count M1 as vintage model and then it will be difficult to get parts. I have a dead Macbook pro due to a screen issue and I cannot find a replacement part. Apple repair quoted me $800.

STOP! They'd rather focus on RAM rather than actual performance benchmarks that show this is one of the best deals in computing if you want something that isn't a slow POS with high quality construction, not to mention the value of the ecosystem integration. But none of that matters! Apple bad
