well, shop my exchange had them for 800 tax free. but that isn't available to everyone and dead now. I bought 2 of them but returned them tho for the micro center macbook pro deals going on for sub 1100.



I gotta say, the M2 is a sweet ass laptop I would of kept it, if I didn't get a MacBook Pro w double ram, double space, and M1 Pro chip for 300 dollars more

900 USD for 256gb and 8gb ram in 2023 is just insulting, regardless how good this chip is.

I had this model and had to return it because it was just toooooooo slow. If you have 10+ browser tabs open at any point in time, then this is just useless. The tabs need to reload each time you switch. The problem here is that for this 256GB SSD, Apple made it as a single NAND chip instead of 2 128GB chips. So it is half as fast as the 512GB SSD. I upgraded it to a 512GB model and it works so much better. Having said that, I should've also upgrade
