If it was the same knife from a different brand, would it be a deal? Probably.
a $20 knife with desirable alloy blade delivered to the door that would be $60+ from a higher-end brand.

9cr and G10 fits the budget price but I don't know any S&W that has anything close to acceptable action. This may be an exception but they don't have a great reputation
I bought about 10 S&W knives on a closeout sale about a year ago direct from them. Each knife was about $10 then, with a msrp of around $40. i will just say that none of them were worth the $10.... every one had gritty hard actions and had bad grinds. the steel was also questionable as it seemed much softer than expected.
As others said, S&W knives are just a branding exercise and not a good one, I'd buy a China Kershaw or even one of several chinese brands (sanrenmu and ganzo for example) before this.

Any Kershaw or CRKT would be so much better than these.... I use the Ken Onion designed knives from both of them as my at home daily use knives.
Weight listed is wrong.
I ordered one thinking it was good for EDC. Turns out the actual weight is 5.9 oz, not the 3.2 the listing here and on Amazon says. This makes a huge difference. Also, it is really massive compared to something like a Gerber Paraframe I, which comes in at around 4 oz. I had to return it after it arrived due to the weight and size.
