For the folks wondering how much bigger this will look compared to their 49" (like me), this could help:

https://www.displaywars.com/57-in...%7B32x9%7D

I was talking with a friend about it earlier and explaining that it's not just 8" wider (or 16%)... the extra space is quite a bit more. This equates to nearly 35% more space with that small increase in inches.

I hope not, not practical for work. Text is horrible. I use the NEO for both, work and play. That's why I think the NEO Is superior to OLED model. The NEO LED technology has gotten very good!

I know a 3080ti easily can.
No it can't. Not at that refresh rate. I own a g9 5120x1440 and a msi 4090 and games like cod I get arou 180fps. This is a much higher resolution monitor than the older g9. No card can run this beast at its full potential

Was the wrong address delivery samsungs fault or ups/fed ex fault? I bought tons of high-priced stuff through Samsung and never had a problem. I work in the medical field that involves a lot of customer service, and most times, it's always the same individual with problems. It's funny that way
Hopefully there's a pickup from Best Buy option like other items from Samsung's website

Only the Radeon RX 7000 Series can do displayport/hdmi 7680x2160 at 240hz. Even Nvidia GPU, even the 4090, can only do up to 120hz. https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawid...with_4090/

Here's a good video on it.

Nvidia can supposedly update the 3 and 4000 series to allow their hdmi 2.1 ports to run it at full spec using DSC.

Oh man... this was my "maximum" price I was going to keep an eye out for and it's already available prior to launch. What to do... what to do...

I honestly don't need it to go past 120hz right now. I'll be happy if it can go 145Hz until the next gen GPU comes out.

You know you want one Wink That said, is your GPU even close enough to being good enough to run it?

You can pick it up from Best Buy when it launches on October 2nd. If you want to swap it out, it's an entire ordeal. I went through something similar with my 65" QN90B earlier in the year. It had horrible DSE, and I wanted to return/exchange for the same model at Best Buy. No go. I had to return it, go home, and place a second order through Samsung.com. The order was available for pickup the next day. Luckily Samsung still had the sales event promo going on or I'd be SOL. If you get a great panel during your first order, you'll be golden.

57" 4k @ 240 Hz, can any graphics card even drive this thing?
Really depends on the game. 4090 maxed out baldurs gate 3 I'm notwhere close to hitting 240 fps. 90-150 typically.

I hope TCL and Hisense can bring their miniLED game to the monitor. We have too little competition in this.

Ordered from Amazon.

Way easier to deal with in case it shows up broken and they are also offering a $500 credit.

Wife getting the current G9.

Please don't order through Samsung. I preordered the G9 oled and Finally after 2.5 months of Samsungs horrendous warranty service got a working monitor.

Oh, did I mention they delivered it to the wrong address, came back the next day and their personal cars to deliver it, so yeah, it came opened. Worst experience. Please buy through Best Buy or anywhere else.
YMMV - I had no issues with phone trade-ins or the delivery.

I had a horrendous experience with my Tab S8 Plus order. Their customer service really does suck.

The big problem with this is the 15 Day return policy. There are no reviews on this monitor from any source that I trust. There are plenty of UNBOXING videos, but there is no real testing. So your spending $2000+ with the hope There are no major issues. 15 days is not much time to unbox, setup and test all by yourself.

I'm still tempted, though, as I have the 32" Odyssey Neo and it is outstanding 👌.

Good find I have a lot more faith in Amazon than Samsung Direct.

Thanks
