I bought and returned it months back. My Roku 6ft away couldn't see it because this was behind a desk. I could only see it on my phone standing directly in front of it. It was useless even at the $12 I paid.

I own this. I couldn't get my Wyze cameras in my chicken coop to connect to my outdoor access point due to them being on the other side of my metal shop. I plugged this into an outlet inside the shop and it extended the Wi-Fi through the metal building to the chicken coop on the other side of the wall.

So my experience is different and I'm actually buying another one now. Thanks for posting.

I bought one last time these were on sale. Pairing was easy with my TP Link router. Now my cameras on the opposite end of my house get a better signal. No problems.

Any recommendation on good wifi range extender which works without duplicating network ID's? Need to fix some wifi dead spots making network to disconnect and reconnect once in a while.
