I like mine. I have one in the garage that 4 ASIC miners use to connect to an upstairs router. Although I need more throughput because I have about .3% rejected shares, I think the only way to fix that is a wire! it's still working for me though so I'm Gonna order another one as a backup!
Bought it so I can reach the shady part of my backyard which has touch and go wifi with where the router placement. But then it got summer hot 🥵 so I do not want to do that for the next 3 months, so I just missed it.

Excellent points! These extenders are (for the most part) mostly useless! I'd focus on the negative reviews!

Don't complain if it doesn't work for you (as is very common) and you can't return it because it's too late!

I understand....but the operative word was "if".
DL in the living room is ~250 mbps.
With the powerline Ethernet adapter + this TP link extender, I get 90+ Mbps which isn't so bad considering the alternative is a measly <20 Mbps via directly connecting to the LR Wi-Fi from the bedroom.
To get good connection via the powerline adapter, both the LR and bedroom outlets must be in the same circuit otherwise DL is really bad ~10 mbps.

You would need to spend closer to $40-50 for a extender with a 10/100/1000 port, unless some are on sale.
