It ends and you use another 3 month sim. Port your number to google voice, get a fake new number with this sim and forward your calls to this new number from google voice. Rinse and repeat every new sim and you will be able to take advantage of ANY prepaid deal promotion from any prepaid carrier forever

thats been the case for the past 2 years of them running the b3g3 free.
Done this with bestbuy mint card past 2 years but havent done it this year yet.

Why do you think it wont work this year?
On another Mint Mobile B3G3 thread on SD, a person just posted that they bought the package from Target, activated today and did not receive the additional 3 months of service. I have been following the 3 threads (Mint direct, from Best Buy and from Target). So far, one person said they got the additional 3 months while the other did not. The Target Mint deal expires tomorrow, I think, and my decision to buy hinges on getting the additional 3 months of service.

I did convert my physical sim card to an esim, though.

Yes, 20 a one time fee. and NO charge for using GV. If you are outside the USA with a temporary number you can still have your GV number automatically forwarding calls to you temporary phone. You would pay a small fee for international calls.
I am finally getting ready to set up Google Voice and have an additional question.

I currently have two mobile numbers. NUMBER1 is a number I've had for ages and that my friends know - this is the number I will (eventually) port to Google Voice (it is currently used with a 4G phone). NUMBER2 is a number that is currently used in a 5G phone with Xfinity Mobile that I will configure Google Voice to forward calls/texts to - this number may get discarded and replaced with another number when the Xfinity Mobile plan expires.

When setting up Google Voice, I believe I need to specify a current, existing number of mine that they will use to verify that I already have a landline or mobile line. Does it matter if I specify NUMBER1 or NUMBER2 when I set up Google Voice?

Is it ok to specify NUMBER1 during set up of Google Voice, even though that is the number that I will port to Google Voice?
Is it ok to specify NUMBER2 during set up of Google Voice, even though that is a number that eventually may be discarded when its current plan expires?

If Google Voice only use the number for that initial verification, then I guess it doesn't matter which number I give them, but perhaps there is some other reason why it might be better to specify one or the other...

I think that it does not matter which number you use when you initially set up GV. And you can change what mobile number you want to use with GV as your primary number in the initial set up. In the GV app on your phone it asks me what numbers I want GV to forward calls to. And it asks me if the number is the same number as the number on my mobile. I currently have a GV number that was my primary land line for many years. I have GV forward all calls to two different mobiles with different mobile numbers. I have GV use my GV number for my caller ID number. You can choose to do this or not.

Thanks for the confirmation. Perhaps the converting to eSIM is the part that got you the additional 3 months? I think I will buy from Target online today then pick up after the 19th to see if Target advertises the new deal.

I bought 3 mint sim from target.com back to May they all have same end date 2024 Dec, 2 cards worked fine. Last one, when I try to active mint site says ' Wrong act code' error... I always stacking deals never have any issue with mint Sim, target can't do anything as return window has due.. mint asking to check with target..

Anyone seen similar error on mint mobile site while activation? Any suggestions?

For the 2 that activated ok. Did you activate those outside the 45 day window? I bought one already and want to buy another but worried they enforce activitation within 45 days.

45 days activation rule is for thosdt sim sold by Mint mobile.... My past experiences I activated them more than 6 months have no problems whatsoever... I've done that so many times..... This time i doubt could be something wrong with Mint end..

Mint-purchased sims have the same ~2 year out date. It's a TMobile expiry date, not Mint's. Yes, BB/Target-bought sim can be activated beyond the proscribed 45 days but that printed date has no correlation.

what happens after 3 months?
Hey there! After the three months, you can renew for another plan, but you need to pay the regular price since the price on the website is an intro offer for new customers just for the first three months.

I also found https://support.google.com/voice/...ice-number which seems to confirm what you say, that it doesn't matter which number I use for Google Voice set up. According to that article a particular number can only ever be used once to sign/set up Google Voice. Therefore, I will perhaps use NUMBER2 since I may abandon that number in the future, and "save" my NUMBER1 in case I want or need to sign/set up Google Voice again.

How long can you wait before activating?
Thank you for contacting Mint Mobile. It will be a pleasure to assist you. After your purchase, you have 45 active days to activate your sim card and if you do not activate your sim card during those 45 days, unfortunately, we do not ensure that you can activate your sim card.

Picked up the 15gb plan and will wait to activate when the buy three get three is (hopefully) offered again. I had the 10% electronics offer. It reduced the amount by the $30 gift card so it took off $3 instead of $6. With tax, it was pennies less than $60.
Thank you for contacting Mint Mobile. It will be our pleasure to assist you. We recommend that you look at our website https://www.mintmobile.com/ as our b3g3 offer is available.
