I did convert my physical sim card to an esim, though.
I currently have two mobile numbers. NUMBER1 is a number I've had for ages and that my friends know - this is the number I will (eventually) port to Google Voice (it is currently used with a 4G phone). NUMBER2 is a number that is currently used in a 5G phone with Xfinity Mobile that I will configure Google Voice to forward calls/texts to - this number may get discarded and replaced with another number when the Xfinity Mobile plan expires.
When setting up Google Voice, I believe I need to specify a current, existing number of mine that they will use to verify that I already have a landline or mobile line. Does it matter if I specify NUMBER1 or NUMBER2 when I set up Google Voice?
Is it ok to specify NUMBER1 during set up of Google Voice, even though that is the number that I will port to Google Voice?
Is it ok to specify NUMBER2 during set up of Google Voice, even though that is a number that eventually may be discarded when its current plan expires?
If Google Voice only use the number for that initial verification, then I guess it doesn't matter which number I give them, but perhaps there is some other reason why it might be better to specify one or the other...

For the 2 that activated ok. Did you activate those outside the 45 day window? I bought one already and want to buy another but worried they enforce activitation within 45 days.
