Our SIMs are mobile-designed and because of this, we cannot guarantee that our SIM cards would work on cameras and others alike. My best advice would be to try with a trial SIM card and then verify if the SIM card is compatible with the device. However, you can take a look at the compatibility of your device with Mint using the following link: https://www.mintmobile.
Hi there, thanks for your interest in our service, in order to take advantage of this deal you will need to process the order through our official website. This year it will not be available through BB or Target, sorry for any inconvenience this can cause you.
I've been with AT&T for years, but with recent family additions, I'm looking to save money wherever I can.
Also, isn't it true as soon as you port your Mint Mobile number in then you lose basically the data, etc. that you had with Mint? Then you'll need to find WiFi to connect to to use Google Voice.. like for example, I signed up for the 3 month with Mint and I still have 1.5 months remaining.. so if I port to Google Voice now.. then I'll lose the 1.5 months of Mint service.. but I guess you're also saying that I could just simply sign up for a new 3 month Mint promotion?
Yes, there is a fee to port your number to them-- years back when I did it the cost was $10. I don't know if its still the same now. There are no other costs to GV, the service is basically 'free'. GV is for the most part a call forwarding service. Because of that you would have no real need to consider porting a Mint number to them, along with the concerns you state about losing 'your data'. You could just have calls forwarded from your Mint number to your GV number. It also works in reverse. Someone can dial your GV number, it gets forwarded to the Mint number and connected through that, but will show up on caller ID as your GV number. It all sounds kind of tricky, but it works once properly set up. I hope that answers your questions. To really understand GV you have to research the set up, and then just use it. Sometimes I find myself thinking about GV and saying, 'how the heck did they do that'? But it does work. I'm on it now for many years.

The only complian I have is they don't offer a good roaming option for Canada/Mexico. Red Pocket offer this for free, while Mint is pretty expensive ($0.02 per MB), or with the new package, it is still $10 for 1G/1 day and $20 for 3G/3 day.
I wish it can offer free roaming for Canada/Mexico, and cut price half for other countries.
Is Mint still the best prepaid option? I also have a pretty old phone (Google Pixel 2XL) which I bought refurb and it still works well but no updates. Is there a good phone deal for a decent price (~$200-250) with new service?
