Couldn't help but laugh at this one
Does exactly what I need it to do, great price... track pad is a bit weird, no "enter" key by num pad but have gotten used to those oddities.
The review did say if this was a Chromebook it should work well. Maybe they will make one.

a few days ago I bought another Mini PC from Blackmagic with N97 16/512GB etc.. Both work great and in all honesty fast enough for normal users.
Only problem is sound. My old speakers don't work. They are old so most likely I just get a USB one.
They are not for gaming and heavy use but common look at the price,

No enter key on a laptop? What a huge oversight that was

It lasts a max of 5 hours on battery. Though it is energy efficient.
They considered Windows 11 Pro as a negative. Not sure why. Seemed strange.
It's a great laptop for the price despite all the naysayers ... listen to the people who own one.
The whole "chinese spyware" is laughable coming from the same people who are typing on their i-phones with their alexas, indoor/outdoor cameras, etc.
Every other laptop I have purchased has been loaded with bloatware, trialware, etc... not this one.
It's not a rocketship but works great (15 seconds or less cold boot to full desktop).
If that were even remotely plausible, you would be able to find it simply by monitoring the traffic leaving the device.
There's no magic VPN that can obfuscate traffic from your router.
It also wouldn't be cost effective to build some sort of tap that leverages international mobile data and put a modem in this.
Moreover, UEFI is pretty hardened against exploits. As long as this isn't booting in legacy BIOS mode, the OS should be safe.
