Do you mean leach? They are homophones so I can see how a normal person would confuse the too (see what I did their?) I did a simple Google search that any normie could do and this is what I found. I will copy and paste it for you here so you don't have to take the time and effort to do your own independent investigation of the truth. I mean why research for yourself when you can just solicit a bunch of anonymous strangers about ingesting dangerous chemicals

"In general, lead is not used to make cast iron cookware. The reason for this is that lead has a much lower melting pot than iron. Iron melts at 1,535° C while lead melts at 327.5 °C. If lead was present it would boil away before it was cast in the same way the alcohol boils away when you cook with wine."

Big enough for a single burger, grilled cheese, or half of a pack of breakfast sausages. Could make an interesting serving container for something, or used for a hot dip.

The 12" is on sale too. Not the lowest price it's ever been, but camel says it's far from the highest price its ever been too.

I have it. I personally think it would be terrible for a burger, grilled cheese, or breakfast sausages. You might as well use a 10" skillet for that. It would have more thermal capacity so you could flip the burger on to a hot part. It would also be way harder to work a spatula around the food in such a small pan. The only thing we use it for at all is cornbread for two people. It makes a box of Jiffy cornbread well. For every single other thing I have ever cooked stove top, I prefer a 10" or 12" skillet.

At $25, you can do better. If you're a Lodge die hard, it's close to fair. I use various brands. You can find 12" cast iron around $15, sometimes enamelled.

Well, regardless of if you think it is actually good to cook those items in this pan or not, if you re-read what I wrote, you can see I was simply giving people ideas on how big it is. I own 15 different cast iron pieces that I use regularly (virtually every day). There is no other pan I would use for half of a pack of breakfast sausage links, this one is perfect. I also don't make single burgers or grilled cheese, but if someone does, this pan will work just fine for that.

You realize that cornbread alone will sell many of these.

Must resist.

I think that's a good use. I recommend it for that. Perfect for two, or even a couple with small kids.

I second this, really good for small links or regular sausage. 12or 10 will be too heavy or take longer time to heat up. I use this almost every morning for couple eggs, or pancakes. It's small but light, just the right size
Getting a lid is costing more than the pan, something I don't understand
