My generator starts every time on 87 fuel with a drop of seafoam stabilizer even if it's been sitting for months.
I have the same model. Reliable but loud. Why they call it quiet technology?
Seems to be gone for now, not showing up for me either (OP). May come back but not sure.

If you need to run anything during an emergency like sump pumps to prevent flooding, the. I recommend not procrastinating 🙂
I'd take it a step further and recommend getting a generator interlock on your main panel and a power inlet box on the outside of your house. This way, you can safely run the generator outdoors and only need 1 cord to connect to your house from the outside instead of running extension cords to the inside. Bonus is your entire panel will also be powered, so all your lights, outlets etc will all work. Only exception is any high loads like central a/c may need to be turned off but furnace can work.

Just to clarify for everyone who doesn't know...your furnace will only work if it's not electric heat.
