Excellent panel marred by bad software. Glitches that haven't been fixed in years. Prepare to have to totally bypass standby mode and hard restart the TV each time if you don't want to be frustrated.

This is the same as the last sale price. I was hoping the closer we get to 2024 it would go down even further. Anyone else think waiting is the right idea & sales are better at the end of Jan / start of Feb of next year?

Many people reported not having software issues like the ones you're talking about. At least that's the indication I received from reading many reviews because it was my top pick for a replacement tv. Are you perhaps referring to out of date software?

Yeah I use a ps5 and XSX on it and they both look great. Make sure to get the HDMI 2.1 cables.

If I had to complain, I would say a cold boot takes a little long but it's really not that bad. I'm really happy with my purchase.

Nope. I have the 75" version. I constantly check for updates in hopes of a fix. I've even completely factory reset the TV a couple of times in hope for a fix.

Sometime when I turn it on, it's connected to my wifi but without internet, or not connected at all. I have to go in an disconnect/reconnect and then it works. Occasionally I have to reboot the TV before it will reconnect.

I used to be able to turn the TV on with Google Assistant, but not anymore after an update. I can do everything else with GA once it's on, but it's frustrating to always have to turn it on by remote first. Especially when the remote's across the room.

Sometimes everything lags *a lot*, until I do a reboot. Even then, it's not the fastest processor, but I expected that from a budget TV. I also have a TCL 4-series with Roku, and it's much faster, even though it's a lower end model.

Oh, just use a streaming device like Firestick you say? Not so fast. Sometimes it doesn't detect the connected devices all of a sudden, and the only fix is a hard reboot.

All in all, I *love* the picture. And the sound ain't half bad either. I know this because sometimes it will disconnect itself from my soundbar. (But that may be the soundbar, even though it's a high end LG, and no one else reports the issue.)

But all in all, I got it for a great price a year ago, and I really enjoy the picture, so I deal with it. That said, I wouldn't buy another.

Bought this two months ago. It's a great value for the price. I appreciate the even backlighting and brightness. Colors are good, dimming zones could be a little more plentiful ... I was hoping for more pronounced HDR. But you're not going to find a better TV for $400 unless you land some crazy clearance deal on an OLED or something.
