You sure that's an expiration date, if it's good for decades long, might be manufacturer date..
It shows the manufacturing date & expiration date on the cans. The product I'm referring to says up to 10 years & not 25 as you mentioned. Yes I'm 100% sure the expiration date was 5.5 years from date of purchase.
