Saw this in my local Sams...

Seems like a pretty good deal. I believe Sams also has a 90 day return policy.
I am considering...
Good Deal?

Why an APU? Why not just put a 5700?

Agree, I guess they built a bunch of these and then decided to start adding dedicated GPU.
Just the same, it doesn't matter if its a APU. It's not going to bottleneck the GPU.
The 3060 RTX should be able to run just about anything on ultra at 1080p.

I assume the GPU is an RTX (not GTX) 3060, right? Nvidia has a history of rebranding junk products to intentionally confuse consumers (e.g., GT 730, RTX 3050 6GB, RTX 3060 8GB, etc.).

Edit: I don't get the downvote. It was a genuine question, not a snarky gotcha remark.

Yes you are correct, good catch. Its an RTX 3060.
Based on other stuff I have seen out there, seems like a solid deal.

Newegg has a 15% (max $150) off Zip coupon deal, for those willing to jump through that hoop: https://www.newegg.com/ZIPMYPC/Ev...e/ID-10708

Here's a decent 4060 deal if one were to take advantage of this promo ($800 - 15% = $680): https://www.newegg.com/p/3D5-002P-00044

*Zip is a buy-now-pay-later service.

I agree. But if anyone feels it's worth researching it etc., have at it.
