Quest 2 is still good, especially if you're new to VR. Quest 3 would be a better purchase once you're sure you like it and it's not gonna sit in the closet unused after the first few weeks.

I have to say, after using the Q3 lenses, I can't use the Q2 anymore. The Q3 is just sharp everywhere, where the Q2 gets blurry so easily out of the perfect sweet spot.

Hard for me to recommend a Q2 to anyone now due to the vast improvement.
