LG is definitely the better one, especially for productivity and the dock. The only thing one can nitpick is the 60hz refresh rate. I had the Samsung 34" S65UC and the dock was finicky and didn't connect correctly. The VA panel also washed out.
Don't consoles get like 30-60fps max? They couldn't use the 100Hz refresh rate... No? They'd be capped.
Xbox series S, series X, and PS5 can hit 120fps at 1080-1440p now. Not in all games, but in the games where 120fps is very helpful it is supported.
Apex legends, Cod Warzone 3, Fortnite, and Halo all can hit 120fps
The issue is that for some reason they don't support 100hz. Only 60hz or 120hz display output
