Oroginal price is not $79.99 lol
It is just a regular price, tell me to buy if it drops to $25.
These comments are so helpful.
Otherwise, one may think it is an $80 mice selling at half off.

Left click on these things always turn faulty (phantom double clicks, fail to register) within a couple years. Got 2 or 3 prior models that unusable in a drawer over here.
Agree, the left click goes bad after a couple years. I love these mice, but they have to be thrown away and replaced every other year due to switches going bad. There are Youtube videos showing how to replace the switch for the left click. But requires soldering, etc. Not worth it in my opinion. I stopped buying them, and now using Logitech mice almost exclusively. Also got an Alienware mouse, but it seems cheap and flimsy for the price.

I went with a Razer Basilik V3 instead. They both cost around 40.

Is the wireless model at $89 still a good deal for this mouse? I am in the market to replace my current logitech g pro wireless mouse and pad and haven't done much research yet.

Sadly, that's typical for Logitech for years now. I do love Logitech mouse but this is a common issue.

I've been using the SE version (just has white accents) for about 5 years without issue. 8 hours a day programming and then some casual gaming. This is the normal price though. I think I got it on clearance for $25. It's great if you need a mouse but it's not really a deal.

Quote from swgfanforlife :
If your a casual gamer, this mouse will last you 2 years before developing the double click issue. If your a more hardcore gamer, it will happen in about 1 year. I got so frustrated with all the mice I bought developing that issue, I broke down and got a Razer Naga Pro and I've been using it 6-7 hours a day for 3 years and it will never develop the dreaded double click. They use a laser/infrared technology now to register the clicks, thus eliminating the parts failure. I have the wireless version and it will last a seriously long time between charging. About 3-4 weeks but you can go even longer on a charge if you don't use it as much as I do.

I know it will wear out one day as nothing lasts forever, but so far it has outlasted every gaming mouse I ever owned and I started playing World of Warcraft over 15 years ago and have always had a gaming mouse. I expect this Razer to last about another 2 years, but who knows for sure. if I get 5 years out of it, I'll be very happy.

I'm curious, what games do you mainly play? You definitely put more hours than I do nowadays (I used to play a lot before kids lol). So, I'd be more of a casual player for the last several years. I have had the same wired Logitech G Pro for about that whole time with no double click. So I'm wondering if people that experience the issue are playing specific games that require abnormal amounts of clicking.
