But you worry about damage during shipping, which Walmart is known for. Hopefully, this private shipper is better. Never sign for it unless it's removed from packaging and inspected (if there is a signing requirement).
Can I put this in my garage in Northern NJ? It looks like it has a seasonal temperature setting. Will that do it?

I'm in CNJ. YMMV. Mine was always closer to the house in the garage, which is insulated.
And have monitored temperature. Inside temperature has never dropped beyond the operating temperature of the unit (-5f to 105F).
Also in CNJ and every winter my crappy insignia fridge can't keep a cold temp. It def matters if your garage isn't insulated.

I don't see an option to add haul away old fridge.
Neighbor's Sub Zero went out 13 months in. It took 2 weeks for a repairman to come.
