Just to use for everyday cutting of fruits and vegetables. I read the reviews regarding cracked and splitting. Before using this one. I washed them all. Then applied cutting board mineral oil and conditioner to it. The same oil and conditioner used for my Boos branded butcher block.
If not this type. Look at Boos.
