Cons
1. Heavy – Especially compared to my dell Inspiron 13 5310 (I know that's a slightly smaller laptop but still the weight difference is massive)
2. Only 1 thunderbolt 4 port
3. Touchscreen not the greatest imo. I was trying to read a manga by swiping using the touchscreen and so many missed swipes. Unusable for swiping to read manga like an iPad (let me know if there is a fix for this)
Overall, very few laptops at this price point come with thunderbolt, which I need to connect to my monitors. So even though I am dis-appointed with the touchscreen, I plan to keep it.

And until you mentioned it, I didn't realize this unit does not have a SD slot!
For those of you with experience with 12 gen Intel processor, how much better is this processor compared to an 11th gen? The reason I ask is im looking at a ThinkPad sold at Costco which has an 11th gen processor:

Any thoughts on which one is a better laptop?
However the Xe iGPU is a little faster. It also has 4x the SSD size. Also have a microSD slot and a fingerprint reader as well as two usb-c with DP and PD as well as two usb 3.1. All for $150 more than the asus
If you don't mind paying $150 more and has no need to ever go beyond 16GB ram, then the lenovo might better.
Should be good for my requirements. Thank you.

So going from 8th gen Intel laptop to an 11th gen should be pretty significant, would you agree?

I am still using 8th gen i5 dell 5400 as my work laptop. The i5-8365u cpu is fast enough (it's a bit faster than the i7-2600k). The only thing i don't like is that it only have HDMI 1.4 instead of 2.0. But it does have usb-c TB3 with PD and DP and 3 usb 3.1 and ethernet port and microSD.

not as compact/low profile though
Which RAm did you buy? I want to buy one for mine.
No real difference between this one and the one above me, this one is $1 more but if you have prime this one will deliver tomorrow.

This laptop for $250 or less is definitely a steal!. I just wish that it has a microsd slot. which would've made it perfect... lol.
Yes, the battery time is a bit crappy, but we didn't complain that much when we bought the motile back then... This laptop is only lacking the microsd slot, one usb 3.1 and one LAN port , one pcie and 1 lb more compared to motile, but you get a better ips screen with touch, a TB4 port, and a significantly faster cpu....
