Great chair, when it goes on sale for this price. If you're a little over 5'10 you need to do the head rest hack (took 10 mins). If youre rocking a little more padding on the side and rear I recommend the Dexley. Also roller blade wheels made this much more comfortable to sit on.

Bought this chair last time it was on sale and I got what I paid for. It's a 100 dollar chair. Tried the headrest hack and I didn't work well for me. I'm 5'10 but have a long waist and my shoulders still bumped into the headrest. It was very uncomfortable as it pushed my neck too forward, where I just found it easier to remove it completely. Arm rests feel very cheap like they could break if there's too much weight on it. Wheels are crap. Overall I don't regret the purchase since it was a cheaper chair but it does feel like it's cheap.

Don't buy the hype, this chair sucks and it's for people under 5'2". The head rest hack still has it sticking way too far forward.

I have tried both and being a fat 250 lbs 6 ft guy, the dexley is more comfortable but the hyken is really good and best part is the back tilt sticks unlike the dexley.

PS: do spend the 15 USD and get the additional insurance. My first dexley went bad within 14 months (the stitching came loose) - all I did was upload some pictures and I got the cash again to buy my next dexley for actually cheaper that the 139 I had originally paid for. Got some misc stuff ~ 40 bucks. The insurance paid for itself.

No matter the cost, don't use this. I used this chair for years and my back and ass hurt after a couple of hours. Luckily the arm rest broke. I went and bought a HM Logi desk chair and now I can work 6-8 hours without any pain or tension. I know money is tight.. but don't cheap out on your chair. You will pay for it later.

Yep, it's like a mattress. Cheaper chair will screw you over in the long run.

Bought this in 2020, I'm 5'11" 190lbs. I never even attached the headrest. I'm working at a computer, so I don't ever really recline that I'd need a headrest.

Seat has held up well. If it's sagging more than day one, I don't notice it. Arm rests are good. Wheels have been fine.

I like that others have reported that if the seat was to rip or sag, the warranty does cover it and they'll send you a replacement part. I think it's a long warranty period. But don't recall how long.
Edit- it's 7 years.

Sitting in one of these now that has gotten daily use since 2017. The armrests are cracking a bit on the sides but no other issues. The headrest is slightly low but not much of a problem, really. 5'10" 160 lbs.

I wonder if you order in store, they will waive the handling fee. Great chair tho.

Both chairs have a hassle free 7 year warranty, not sure if the insurance is really necessary, but at least it worked out well in your case.
