    Ive had this for about a year. Installed in the fall. Never had to charge it all winter (live in Boston) it did get down to 2 bars of battery in the winter. Triggered about 3-4 times each day. Since about April the camera has received enough sunlight to be fully charged now.

    Would recommend.

    Just received our two cameras today and we're impressed enough to splurge on the Homebase 3 (as mentioned elsewhere in this thread, $99 if you buy directly through the app). Setting it up was fairly easy, though it took about 5 attempts with each camera to get it to connect to the 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi. Also the link to Alexa to have our Echo send the video to the TV took a little work, but all in all we're happy. Great picture on it too, far FAR better than the Ring Stick Up cams we're replacing, though I think the Ring speakers & mics are a little better than these Eufy cams.

    The Homebase seems like a no-brainer since we were about to be charged the new higher price of $49.99 per device for 12 months of Basic Ring service at the beginning of next month. Now we can just use those Ring cams for live views elsewhere around the outside of the house.

    For those of you who ordered the 4 pack from Eufy directly, have you gotten your cameras or any order updates? I ordered 05/16/2024 and it still says "Confirmed. We've received your order" when I click on the "View your order" button from the order confirmation email. When I check under "My Orders" in my Eufy account, it says "Your Order is Processing". It's been a week, and no updates Frown My friend who ordered has gotten 3 fraudulent charges on the credit card he used for the order since then...

    I received mine the other day. They shipped the 4 cameras in a poly non padded bag. They shipped my homebase the same way. I wish they'd splurge on an actual box to ship in. My cameras and homebase were okay but the boxes they came in were pretty banged up.

    I guess they removed that option, I have other eufy indoor 2k cams that hacked to put it outdoor supporting playback recording on SD card, so was hoping can do that with this wireless cam but it seems it can't

    I didn't think any battery cameras had 24/7 recording options. Only the wired models.

    Need to remember solar charging cannot keep up with the power needed for continuous recording. Which also mean if you put this camera in an area where there are a lot of people/objects moving around the whole day which lead to a lot of motion trigger throughout the day and night, the camera will eventually went out of power since solar charger won't be able to charge it fast enough. So you will need to bring it inside to recharge it manually once in a while.
