I have about 50 Kasa products in my house between switches, outlets and bulbs, love them all. Really love their app as it is so easy to use and very basic but in particular gives you a sunrise/sunset option to turn on/off so it automatically knows as time changes in your area, others don't have that simple feature. Beats the heck out of if you want a light to turn on 15 minutes before sunset and off at sunrise to continually go in the program to change the times as the seasons change.

That said, I guess like most, prices have gone up. I just bought the majority of these in 2022 (although have had others for 6 years now) and I used to buy a 3 pack of these for $34 and singles for $14 so the sale now is still higher.

Only thing I wish Kasa offered was a ceiling fan/light combo like urlhasbeenblocked does.

If you are installing these in a multi box, say 3 switches, can be a tad more difficult as these are big boxes and take up space, gotta really work the wires in to the back of the box.

If you never had these and just want to put one in for say like an outside light, trust me, you will get hooked and want these all over your house. So great if you are out, even on vacation, want to turn on lights to make it look like you are home or turn on lights before you get home, can do that from anywhere with your phone.

And to be able to group up switches in different groups, hit one button to turn on or off, love it.

LOL yep I sound like a salesman for this but honestly, this is one of the best things I've ever done in my house. Using for years now and every night at 15min before sunset when I have about 30 lights in the house come on (low dim setting) I still get a smile, it is that awesome. Even that, it is so neat to get the dimmer ones and be able to adjust the dim setting from the phone.

Nice to see all the comments on how dependable these are. KY biggest gripe with smart anything is disconnects, resets, etc.

Same I have about 30 Kasa switches in my house. The switches/app works well most of the time, occasional hiccup but nothing major.

I have a 6 gang box with 5 dimmers and 1 non-dimmer. It's tight but mine were all new construction as I built the house I made sure I had 6"+ of wire outside the box.

No complaints other than they are mildly annoying to get Google home to play nice.

All KASA switches are back to prime-day sales, motion-detected $15/pop after coupon
It sounds like Prime Day wasn't so prime after all.

Can we use these switches for restroom exhaust fans? Description says any fixtures but mostly advertised for lights.
You can use these switches for anything that has a wall switch, so yes, you can use it for a bathroom exhaust fan, however if you are trying to get the moisture out of a bathroom after a shower you may be better served with a switch that has a moisture sensor

I am a little confused. Does that mean that the item (light) continues to draw power even if it's in the "off" state? I would want one in my garage but wouldn't want power drawing all the time when I'm not there.
The switch always draws a small bit of current, but nothing significant. The light is not on. There is a small circular LED embedded under the switch that activates when the switch is off. This helps you find the switch in the dark.

Thank you. After seeing online reviews thought these are not working as expected. I will consider this sensor switch.
