For years I've been jealous of anyone with an EPP account. Out of desperation for this deal I entered my work email here to check eligibility: https://www.samsung.com/us/shop/o...workplace/

And it said I'm eligible! I'm shocked because nowhere in my work employee discount portal does it mention Samsung. It explicitly mentions many other companies but not a single trace of Samsung anywhere.

Give it a try if you haven't already.

I think this looks better than any TV at this price.

Yeah, like I said, I used a 48" curved 4K TV as my only monitor for a few years, so I have gone that route as well. I just like having three 27" flat IPS 4K monitors and a fourth 13.5" 3:2 portable monitor right below the center 27" now.

In the end, it all boils down to how deep your desk is and how far do you want your monitors to be from your eyes. Younger eyes with perfect vision are more forgiving when it comes to that, but if you wear glasses, you need to optimize viewing distance based on your prescription.

I did have a dual 32" 1500R curved 4K monitor setup as well for a couple of years. The triple 27" + 13.5" works better for me as it lets me move windows and applications around more optimally for software development. Now I prefer more monitors to larger monitors. I know you can use displayfusion and similar apps to divide your desktop into virtual monitors, but I still prefer separate monitors that I can angle to face me perfectly.

Larger screens do offer amazing immersion though, I agree. I do miss that, but my 27" 4K panels are a lot more color accurate than my curved monitors / TV. I couldn't find any 32" curved 4K IPS displays when I was looking, so had to settle for VA.
I prefer a large screen like 42" because I don't full screen my windows like pc users tend to; I use them in windowed mode like a Mac.

The 42" can be split into 4 21" screens without turning my head for all the information. It makes for a very fluid space when you don't full screen the window.

Bought this the last time it was around $380 despite the negative reviews found online. It seems those reviews were outdated as a firmware update has fixed most of the issues and I'm really pleased. Replaced my low-spec Samsung 40" 4K TV and running Windows at 4K/120 over DP. For games, VRR works great with my RTX 3080. Can't lose at this price.
You upgraded from 120hz to 144hz? That doesn't seem like a worthwhile upgrade unless I'm missing something but it is a great price.

Not sure that this once can. The LG 43" can and with 4 sources. Been around this same price for a while now. Paid $700 for mine during COVID days

Not seeing the $363.75. Regardless, I'm in for one at $380.02
Edit: I can't read. The better price is in mobile app.
Edit2: The mobile app knows I'm not a real student. They can keep their $20.

I have it for office and photo/video editing use.

It is huge. I like that but if you're too close, you will genuinely injure your neck.

But it has great color, nice refresh rate, and good contrast. The real estate is fantastic for copy editing my writing (you see every typo) and multitasking.

I hate the over-simple remote and the ridiculous menu system. I do get connectivity glitches on occasion.

Still, definitely the best monitor I've ever had. I upgraded from a Sony 27 M9.

Plan to rearrange your office around this thing tho.

No sir, the old set was limited to 4K/60 - I'm running this new one at 4K/120 for general use. Going up to 144Hz A) affects general appearance B) is rarely if ever possible at native rez in the games I frequent. I didn't buy a 4K set to play 1080/144Hz so I can't really comment, but others might.

I'm having luck with an older Samsung TV remote. I frequently change inputs and between the better low-tech remote and auto port switching enabled, I'm pretty satisfied.

Sure, OLED would've been money, but good luck getting a 43", 4K, 144 Hz OLED monitor/TV with built-in speakers for $385 shipped after tax. That's what it cost me. My son needed a TV this size for his room after he just got a PS5 Slim. He already had a 4K TV this size but it was only 60 Hz. This is a perfect PC/console gaming monitor/TV, and it even has a remote. I am surprised it cost less than the PS5.

Buy 2 for 666 + tax. May be due to first App order. Try getting referral discount of 5% on top as well if it's the first order.
