My ass isn't especially hard or sensitive and I love the seat. The mesh is absolutely the way and is way better than the fart-storing variety of cushion.
There is absolutely nothing that comes close in this price range. If you have a wide bottom or are super tall then maybe the Dexley is more suitable for you.
Mesh is the way when it comes to ergonomic productivity seating. "Gaming chairs" are scammy garbage.
Don't know why I'm the first to let you know that it is a neck rest not a head rest. (Also 5'9")
Best birthday present for myself at ~$90(few years back it had a working coupon) as it resolved back pain issues.

Sorry in advance for wasting your time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Otherwise, the chair has decent support and doesn't break the bank. I did the headrest hack and assembled it myself.
Update: crazy - I just now got the popup! It's called "Spin to Win" and spinning inevitably lands on "Sign up for email and texts to get $15 off your next online order of $60 or more."
I have had one for years. It's a pretty decent chair for the money.
The mesh is rough and the headrest is pretty low/useless. Otherwise, it's a good chair for $100.
I am overweight and not overly large complaints with it
