My ass isn't especially hard or sensitive and I love the seat. The mesh is absolutely the way and is way better than the fart-storing variety of cushion.
There is absolutely nothing that comes close in this price range. If you have a wide bottom or are super tall then maybe the Dexley is more suitable for you.
Mesh is the way when it comes to ergonomic productivity seating. "Gaming chairs" are scammy garbage.
Don't know why I'm the first to let you know that it is a neck rest not a head rest. (Also 5'9")
Best birthday present for myself at ~$90(few years back it had a working coupon) as it resolved back pain issues.

If you need more explanation, there's YouTube videos and Instructables guides.
My only critiques on these instructions:
–Don't be a complete luddite and stab a screwdriver through the mesh. Use a proper right angle ratcheting screwdriver like a civilized person.
–Use blue Loctite (the one that comes in the red tube) on all of the bolts and screws on this chair, but especially the ones shown in this guide. They will loosen over time.

I picked this chair up after trying a few at Staples on the July 20th. Saw the price drop yesterday and they thankfully price matched it despite the 14 day return policy (they commented it was the 14th day so I was lucky, but I think they forgot that last month had 31 days...). Either way, at the time I had already price matched their website for another deal that had brought the red version of the chair to $180 (including the warranty). New deal? $150 - so, got $30 back.
Is the red worth $20? With a 7 year warranty on the chair... probably assuming it lives that lifespan?

I'm 5'10", headrest can barely touch my shoulders when it's in the lower position, upper position my head sits fine.
It is snug side to side, but I like that so I don't get lazy and try to sit on my foot (and destroy my knees) during long sessions gaming. Never any back pain.
Arm rests leave a little to be desired, as they are narrow, but i didnt feel like going to the bigger chair was the right choice for me.
Buy it! I would buy 3 more, but can't ship to me any longer.

Do I work with the chair company or staples? Thrower boxes though
I got this chair 6 month back and the fabric attached to chair is coming off.
I got the staples extended warranty as well.
