Buddy both of your points are simply false. I put together both of my hykens alone with literally 0 issue... just put together my 2nd last month .. Im 5'11 and this just isnt true. Headrest is a bit low but if u flip it upside down it fits like a glove ..... Y lie?

This thread is weird. I've used this thing for almost 3.5 years since WFH started. I put it together on my own quickly with zero problems. I still use it every day. The only problem I have found is that I tend to lean more to one side so that armrest is getting more worn than the other.

My ass isn't especially hard or sensitive and I love the seat. The mesh is absolutely the way and is way better than the fart-storing variety of cushion.

There is absolutely nothing that comes close in this price range. If you have a wide bottom or are super tall then maybe the Dexley is more suitable for you.

Mesh is the way when it comes to ergonomic productivity seating. "Gaming chairs" are scammy garbage.

Definitely possible to assemble solo. (I did)

Don't know why I'm the first to let you know that it is a neck rest not a head rest. (Also 5'9")

Best birthday present for myself at ~$90(few years back it had a working coupon) as it resolved back pain issues.

Great chair as long as you do the headrest modification.

Not for everyone: If you have sensitive bottom, this chair will hurt you. I finally gave my chair away.
I agree and I cannot emphasize enough to avoid anything with a mesh bottom as it doesn't give proper support. I used a mesh bottom office chair for a few years at work until one day I got up and changed out the chair because I started feeling pain in my hips. I ultimately had to have hip surgery and I truly believe that it is because chairs like this that have a mesh bottom has the hips angle slightly inward if you have any sort of weight. I'm a bigger guy and wish I had never grabbed this chair that at first I thought it was comfortable.

This is a great chair for a great price. I've had mine for about six months working from home and I'm 5'11" (though admittedly long legged). I did perform the headrest hack and while it's not perfect (especially when my hair is clipped) it's really nice to have when I recline the chair for movies or gaming. Best $100 I've spent on a chair.

I have 3 of these chairs and dont bother putting on the headrest. Personally I think it just hinders the shoulder.

Great deal - we bought two at the start of COVID for working from home...4 years later I have one arm rest that's chipped and needs replacing and my wife's cushion needs replacing.

Buying this for her and using her old one for spare parts for mine - couldn't get the parts seperately.

Yes this^^^. You can get replacements for all parts that are not mechanical, seat, armrest, backrest. What doesnt make sense is when you request the armrest pad replacement they will send you the whole armrest piece which includes the metal portion. Think there is a 7 year warranty on these chairs

Mine I bought second hand during the pandemic for $40 USD. At the time it was great. Now after 4 years, the vertical lift hydraulics keeps going down when I sit. I am guessing its normal wear but anyone have same issue? I am thinking about ordering replacement lift for it.
I bought 3 (blue mesh) through my company back in 2020, and 2 of the 3 chairs are having hydraulic issues and will need to be replaced.

I went to the store to try this chair a few weeks ago. I found it uncomfortable. Ended up buying an Ayalon that was marked down to $199 plus had I a 15% off coupon from a recent in store Amazon return.
Its not a sofa. If it were like that you would develop back problems. I can see how it might be bad for people that are overly skinny though.

I'm glad it worked out for you even though your 5'11''. Who knows? I might have shorter legs but longer torso. You have your experiences and I have mine. My experience is very similar to almost everybody's comment on SD every time this chair gets posted. You make it sound like I made commission by lying lol.
Were you just lying for free then?

I've seen several references here to a 7 year warranty but the product page clearly shows 5 years. Can someone please confirm which is correct? Thank you.
