Going in a media room with no windows.
Also Costco TV return policy is 90 days
I got best buy to match the $2800 plus signed up for best buy visa for additional 15% off
Only downside is the "free install" is booked 6 weeks out in my area so I had to unbox it and install myself. It's heavy.

Size isn't everything though, I got rid of my projectors for a 77" oled.

This is not a tv you want to "swap" after it's up and mounted. It's a huge pain at this size. You want it up for years to enjoy. I recommend paying a bit more now and enjoying it for the long haul.
Costco's warranty also just extends the manufacturer warranty whereas third party warranties sometimes have other perks like accident coverage too. Check the fine print on the Hisense warranty though. It says if there isn't an authorized repair facility within a 50m radius of you, you have to pack up and ship the tv back to them at your cost.
A 3rd party warranty probably wouldn't even bother and cut you a check for the cost to replace it.

I am certain that any mid size( and larger) metro area has a service provider within 50 miles...but still that could be a nightmare if you did not have one in the correct proximity

What reason did they give for the refusal?
