I see the product image with the $99 price but it's still $249 for me at 2 locations online. When does the $99 price go live?

I don't think Lowe's does regional sales, but maybe? It's in their latest circular that is live now.

Personally I'd go with the Kobalt. Smaller saw = lighter which is nice, and personally it's not often that I need the extra cut depth. And I think Kobalt tools are higher quality than Skil. Just my opinion

7 1/4" blades are cheaper than 6 1/2", I don't know anything about Skil though. The other reply does make sense though, I bet the smaller saw is still good for most of what a 7 1/4 does, but a little easier to handle. I've always thought 6 1/2" circular was an odd thing to develop, but I'm starting to appreciate that it might be just right. EDIT: I just watched a couple reviews and apparently this saw cuts deep for its size, and the reviews are very positive. $100 for this sounds appealing.
