Funny I never verified anything I just press the edu button and it gives me a discount. Every time. Done it for multiple purchases in multiple accounts in the last year

I have a weird feeling that many know about this but nobody says because they are worried it'll get patched or something

It looks like Best Buy does their fulfillment, so it's coming from them either way
Nope, last time I ordered an SSD from Samsung via shipping it didn't come from Best Buy.

Shipping is NOT free. Charging me $6.99, no way around it except pickup at Best Buy.
It's not even an option for me, says no shipping for my zip code. Weird because I'm in a larger metropolitan area. Pick up only. But it's a 15 minute drive which may not make it worth it compared to $120 at Amazon... Can't decide.

Nice, thanks for the heads up on the 15% CB. Didn't get a free shipping option, but there is a pick up option for me.

Snagged this a few days back with the EPP discount, 10% cash back from the unnamed site, and 5% cashback with Chase Freedom rewards with Paypal. Picked it up at Best Buy. Thanks.

I mean it's still under "Processing", but under shopping trips for Samsung I got a ~$17 dollar cashback which is around 15 percent of the purchasing total.

I want the storage, and I trust the Samsung brand, but my second NVMe slot is only PCIe Gen 3. It'd be good to have if I did a new build in the future, but is there a cheaper 2TB option with Gen 3 speeds and the same Samsung reliability?

You might find a 980 EVO, but I feel like you're approaching the limit in savings if you want something new

The SN850X is technically better, but you may not be able to tell the difference
